THE youngsters at Shelter Home for the Children in Petaling Jaya could hardly contain their excitement when world number one badminton player Datuk Lee Chong Wei stepped into their compound recently.
Chong Wei had taken time off his busy schedule to visit the home as he wanted to personally thank the children who had cheered for him at the Malaysian Open finals last month.
