THE soil erosion that occurred in Taman Universiti Indah in Seri Kembangan, Selangor, in October last year is being handled in stages by the authorities and residents have been asked to remain patient.
Subang Jaya municipal councillor Pooi Weng Kiong said the delay in engaging a contractor for slope stabilisation work was due to lack of funds and not an act of shirking responsibility as claimed by a former councillor in the Sin Chew daily recently.
