Having fun at other people’s expense

I AM not sure if it is just me but does anyone else find the photos of children crying on the first day of school just adorable?

Yes, it’s quite strange when you think about it, this happiness at the expense of other people’s misery. Still, I am absolutely fascinated by it and often flip the pages of the newspaper just to read stories about their first day.
