KUANTAN: The Pahang government plans to install early-warning devices to alert the relevant authorities on rises in water levels of Sungai Kuantan and Sungai Belat.
Tengku Mahkota Pahang Tengku Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah said the two rivers were known to frequently overflow and cause flooding which affected thousands of villagers in the surrounding areas.
