Reps singing for a good cause

SEVERAL Penang state executive councillors and assemblymen sang to raise funds for the Penang Press Club recently. They took to the stage at the Penang Chinese Town Hall to sing at a concert-cum-fundraising dinner.

State Local Government, Traffic Management and Environment Committee chairman Chow Kon Yeow; Youth and Sports, Women, Family and Community Development Committee chairman Lydia Ong Kok Fooi; Agriculture and Agro-based Industry, Rural Development and Flood Mitigation Committee chairman Law Choo Kiang; and Tourism Development, Culture, Arts and Heritage Committee chairman Danny Law Heng Kiang were among the ‘celebrities’ lending their voices for a good cause.
