DUBAI-BASED Al-Jawhara Group of Hotels has expressed interest in investing in the hospitality industry in Penang.
State Domestic Trade and Con-sumer Affairs Committee chairman Abdul Malik Abul Kassim said representatives from the group would be in Penang from Dec 4 to Dec 6 to hold discussions with several hotels on managing them based on the Syariah family compliance concept.
