EVERY year for Deepavali, the Hindu tradesmen from Kuala Lumpur’s famed Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman, Jalan Melayu and Jalan Masjid India get together and pool their resources to help the poor.
This year, 250 boxes of groceries were distributed in several areas, including Sentul, Klang, Telok Panglima Garang, Carey Island and Banting, to commemorate the festival of lights.
