Princes and princesses of the first order and plenty of KL’s movers and shakers were at Malaysia Tatler’s annual ball which was a night of fun and camaraderie with distinguished guests who were all good sports. When the food arrived, many who are connoisseurs of the best life has to offer, nodded approvingly at the slap-up dinner cooked to perfection by Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur’s talented chefs.
Eight Dance Instructors started the ball rolling with an elegant dance routine.
Each guest received a precious full-sized Estee Lauder Re-Nutriv Ultimate Youth creme worth RM850 so they can return in 2009 looking even younger. The guys got Pleasures Men so that they will smell divine.
At every Malaysia Tatler anniversary ball, the highlight was the award presentation by Florence Fang and Edipresse Asia’s CEO Barrie Goodridge, who missed last year’s ball but managed to fly in from Hong Kong this time.
The award recipients went on stage with speeches and a particularly endearing one came from Ruth Yeoh who spoke about global warming and saving the environment.
Each was awarded a Daum trophy and received special gift from either Bulgari, Louis Vuitton, Marc Jacobs, Massimo Dutti, Melium Group, The Hour Glass, Bedat & Co or Tittot.
Event sponsors were Estee Lauder, Flora Etc, FWC Connoisseurs, Porsche, Riche Monde and Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur.
