MUAR: Pagoh is set to become a major producer of the nilam or patchouli perfume extract for export to factories in Europe, the United States and the Middle East next year.
The patchouli shrub, botanical name pogostemon cablin, is being cultivated on 50ha in the Nasuha Herb and Spice Farm near Pagoh.
