KUALA TERENGGANU: The Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) is placed on alert for a possible arrival of Thai and Cambodian illegal immigrants following heightened tension at their border.
Its Eastern Region Enforcement Chief First Admiral Datuk Ismail Hamzah said the agency is monitoring the situation to prevent encroachment by foreigners into the country’s territorial waters.
