JASIN: It was a pleasant surprise for the principal and teachers of SJK(C) Merlimau when Health minister Datuk Dr Liow Tiong Lai pledged RM300,000 for the rebuilding of a new three-storey block at his alma mater.
Liow, who hails from Merlimau, Jasin, made the announcement when he visited his former school last Wednesday before heading for dinner at a restaurant in Jalan Pengkalan Rama.
