LESS than three months after the Selangor government had ordered a freeze on the construction of billboards, several new ones have sprung up at various locations in Petaling Jaya and the city residents want an explanation from the city council (MBPJ).
Petaling Jaya mayor Datuk Mohamad Roslan Sakiman had announced during the July meeting of the MBPJ full board that the state government had issued a directive to freeze all applications to erect new billboards.
