THE Merdeka spirit was in the air at the Then Sze Khoon Chinese temple in Ulu Temiang near Seremban with patriotic songs blaring through the speakers and 100 Jalur Gemilang strategically placed around its premises.
Organised annually by the temple committee, the flag-raising ceremony was witnessed by about 100 preschoolers, Seremban Municipal Council (MPS) president Datuk Abd Halim Abd Latif and representatives from 20 non-governmental organisations from the Temiang area.
