90 Smart Reader Kids franchisees recognised


MORE than 90 Smart Reader Kids franchise holders from all over the country were awarded last week at a dinner party for their various achievements.

“The strength of franchise lies in the leadership and implementation. To be a leader in the education industry based on a franchise model is not an easy position to achieve,” said Deputy Entrepreneur and Cooperative Development Minister Datuk Saifuddin Abdullah who launched the Smart Reader Worldwide 6th Franchisee Award at the dinner.

Saifuddin added that to attain such status one must put in a lot of effort, diligence and commitment on the part of the franchisor.

During the event, top franchisees were awarded for Teacher of the Year, Young Entrepreneur Award, Diamond Award, Gold Award, Platinum Award, High Tutorial Enrolment Award, New Impressive Award, Dealer of the Year Award, Most Promising Franchisee.

Throughout the dinner held at the Palace of the Golden Horses, teachers and educators entertained the guests with traditional dances and songs.

The evening themed Jubilation ended with the presentation of the Franchisee of the Year Award, which was presented to S. Shamala and her husband Mana Mohan from Smart Reader Kids Sri Gombak, Selangor by Malaysian Franchise Association CEO Norol Azali Sulaiman.

“Upholding quality is our main focus and we will continue upgrading and looking for ways to improve ourselves better,” said Smart Reader Worldwide CEO Dr Richard Ong.
