Years on, people still flock to Jalan Liku hawker stalls

JALAN Liku is one place that brings back many pleasant memories. As a matter of fact, the whole stretch of this street was dotted with hawker stalls at one point and picking your makan for breakfast, lunch and dinner wasn’t a hassle.

I ate here for nearly 15 years before moving back to work in Petaling Jaya and some of the stalls here are legendary. In the past, they occupied the sidewalks, and on a typical evening, you could see newscasters, journalists and their editors having a bite by the roadside.
