Lakmns apologises for unapproved exhumation

KUCHING: Lembaga Amanah Kebajikan Masjid Negeri Sarawak (Lakmns) is seeking forgiveness from the affected families over the unapproved exhumation of remains of their ancestors at the Muslim cemetery at Jalan Tun Ahmad Zaidi (formerly Jalan Keretapi) here.

Lakmns regretted that the incident had happened on Tuesday during which an excavator was torched as angry family members stopped the digging up of the graves.
