MUDA Agriculture Development Authority (Mada) will receive an additional RM602mil in allocation to improve its padi production under the Ninth Malaysia Plan mid-term review.
Agriculture and Agro-based Industry Minister Datuk Mustapa Mohamed said the allocation was five times more that its original amount of RM145mil given to the agency until 2010 to look after the rice production.
