THE Perak Customs Department foiled an attempt to smuggle in 2,500 boxes of frozen cow lungs from Argentina worth RM52,000 at the North Butterworth Container Terminal in Penang.
Department director Dzulkurnain Abdul Rahman said the cow lungs, weighing 25 tonnes, were found inside a 12m-long container at the terminal at 10am during a raid conducted following a public tip-off.
