THE state government hsd been urged to regulated foreign workers occupying dilapidated pre-war houses in the inner city of Georgetown in light of Penang's inclusion in the Unesco world heritage listing.
Foreign workers started moving into areas such as Jalan Sungai Ujong, Jalan Siam, Gat Lebuh Macallum and Lebuh McNair a few years ago due to the cheap rental and now make up about 10% of the inner city population.
