HAPPY smiling faces and beautifully envisioned human figures are the main themes for Chong Siew Ying’s latest solo exhibition Idylle that is set amid a romantic Chinese backdrop.

Idylle is a collection of Chong’s latest paintings and is a reflection of new developments in her artistic career. The influence and theme revolved around her interest in classical Chinese literature as well as the local landscape resulting in iconic images with a fresh contemporary Asian touch.
