OWNING a vineyard in France is a dream that many people may harbour, but few realise it. However, Andre Lurton would not deny his passion, so he bought an abandoned chateau and rehabilitated the area, which today is known as Chateau Bonnet.
“When Andre took over the 30 hectares of vines, it was in its worst condition; the plants were destroyed by frost and Andre spent years rebuilding it,” said Andre Lurton wines regional ambassador Laurent Belisare.
