KEMAMAN: The Terengganu government will give 4,000ha of land next month on a temporary occupancy licence basis to farmers in Setiu district to grow padi on an intensive scale.
Mentri Besar Datuk Ahmad Said said the pilot phase of the project would be in Kampung Pak Kancil to help the poor increase their income and meet food needs of Terengganu folks.
