State assembly turns down motion on oil royalty


KUALA TERENGGANU: The state assembly shot down a motion to debate on the demand for petroleum royalty to be returned to the state and supported a proposal made by Mentri Besar Datuk Ahmad Said on the issue.

The motion was tabled by assemblyman Mohd Abdul Wahid Endut (PAS- Wakaf Mempelam).
