KUCHING: The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and Sarawak Rivers Board are using a two-pronged approach to reach out to communities in remote parts of the state, ahead of the forthcoming Gawai Dayak festival, as part of a statewide river safety campaign.
UNDP programme manager Ginny Ng said the campaign showcased a special segment on disaster preparedness to help communities in Kapit and Song, which were among the most flood-prone districts.
