A MINI-township comprising affordable housing units for rural poor people in Tasek Gelugor, Penang, is now under construction and expected to be ready by 2012.
Penang Regional Development Authority (Perda) chairman Datuk Hilmi Rashid said the project, costing RM124mil, is jointly developed by Perda’s subsidiary Perda Ventures Incorporated Sdn Bhd (PVI) and Pertubuhan Peladang Kawasan (Area Famer’s Organisation) Penaga.
