Sharp increase in mishaps after highway opened along Jalan Kuchai Lama

An average of three to four accidents happen every week at the T-junction of Jalan Kuchai Lama and Jalan 1/1153, Off Jalan Kuchai Lama and residents are getting very concerned about their safety. 

The number of accidents at the junction has increased in the past three months ever since the flyover on Jalan Kuchai Lama was completed which allows motorists to bypass the traffic lights that connects the road with the New Pantai Expressway.
