MUAR: Barisan candidate for the Bakri parliamentary seat, Yap Puay Chuan, and Chris Lee Ching Yong, who is contesting the Bentayan state seat, showed their true Muar-guy character when they helped a satay man fan the fire at a restaurant here.
Both candidates, who are lawyers, made their rounds in the town to meet voters including shopkeepers, taxi drivers, peddlers and anyone who happened to pass by on Wednesday.
