It’s something to fish for

A total RM15,000 is up for grabs in a fishing competition that is organised by the Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) with the Association of Statutory Bodies of Malaysia, at Taman Tasik Titiwangsa tomorrow.

The fishing competition, organised in conjunction with the City Day celebrations, is open to all and will begin at 8am. The participant with the heaviest catch will be declared as the champion.

DBKL director general Datuk Salleh Yusup said the annual fishing competition received tremendous support in terms of participation.

“Some participants come with their families early and set up tents by the lake. So, it's interesting because it becomes a family event.
