Demolishing of food court after CNY

A food court at Jalan Pasar in Pudu, Kuala Lumpur, which made headlines in October last year over the presence of women from China selling kuaci was saved from being demolished on Monday.

A timely intervention by Bukit Bintang Barisan Nasional head Datuk Dr Lee Chong Meng who appealed to the Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) officers to postpone the demolition exercise had allowed hawkers at the food court to continue business until March.
