SIBU: Local syndicates are employing illegal foreign workers to tap rubber in smallholdings on the outskirts of town.
Sarawak Minister of Urban Development and Tourism Datuk Sri Wong Soon Koh alleged that some owners were sharing the proceeds from the sale of rubber with the syndicates.
