PENANG: The organisers of the annual Pesta Pulau Pinang chingay competition should not be so quick in deciding to scrap the event following the recent controversy over the results.
State Tourism Development Committee chairman Teng Chang Yeow said this was not the best solution because chingay was synonymous with Pesta Pulau Pinang.
