Bus ‘war’ erupts in Penang

PENANG: Threatened by Rapid Penang’s popularity, some drivers from other bus companies are resorting to sabotage and threats to “steal” passengers.  

Rapid Penang corporate communications assistant manager Yap Lee Ying said the company’s designated bus lanes at the Weld Quay and Komtar terminals were constantly blocked by buses from rival companies.
