JOHOR BARU: More than 15,000 people had their licences suspended this year for various traffic offences, mainly for beating red lights and speeding.
Works and Housing Committee chairman Datuk Baderi Dasuki said the suspension was carried out after the motorists were nabbed under an operation codenamed Ops Bersepadu, which had been going on since early this year.
