BANDAR SUNWAY’S Safe City Initiative aims to help residents feel safe in their own neighbourhoods and communities. The project began in 2001 and has proved effective.
The initiative, in partnership with the Royal Malaysian Police, the Malaysia Crime Prevention Foundation (MCPF) and the Selangor State Government, was aimed at reducing the crime rate and instil neighbourhood spirit. It has since become an example to other residents’ association throughout Selangor.
