PENANG: Police have identified the Mamak Gang to be behind more than RM2mil in heists in the state, which included at least 35 cases of carjacking of luxury cars and robberies.
The present members are remnants of the gang responsible for more than 150 robberies such as cargo hijackings and warehouse break-ins amounting to RM50mil during the 90s.
