KOTA KINABALU: A consultant was overpaid for the RM4.25mil Kota Belud community hall project that was completed in 2005 which is now in need of repair and is under utilised.
The Auditor-General reported that the council had made an excess payment of RM121,965 because they failed to properly check the claims made by the consultant.
