KOTA KINABALU: The Federal Land Development Authority (Felda) is contributing towards sustainable forest management in its own way by undertaking various initiatives on environmental protection, the agency’s top official said.
Felda Deputy Director-General (Operations) Datuk Dzulkifli Abd Wahab said though the agency was set up to uplift the economic status of the rural community, it had done its part to care for the environment by promoting the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) and Good Agricultural Practices (GAP).
