Contribution for restoration schemes in Sabah


KOTA KINABALU: Sabah’s conservation efforts received a boost with the US government giving a donation of (US$60,000) RM208,000 for conservation projects. 

On Aug 2, US Assistant Secretary of State for the Bureau of Oceans, International Environmental and Scientific Affairs, Claudia McMurray, presented a cheque for US$20,000 (RM69,140) to Chief Minister Datuk Musa Aman for the restoration programmes being carried out at the Ulu Segama and Malua Forest Reserve in the east coast of Sabah.
