TAIPING Zoo's "Breeding of Animals in Captivity" programme scored another success with the birth of a healthy female elephant calf and three African lioness cubs recently.
The zoo also recorded its first hatching of two Milky Stork chicks. The Milky Stork is a large water bird whose population in South-East Asia is said to be on the verge of extinction.
