KUCHING: Sarawak is targeting to replant one million hectares by 2020 under the forest plantation programme in an effort to reduce pressure on the supply of timber from natural forests.
Plantation Industries and Commodities Minister Datuk Peter Chin Fah Kui said the state was the most ambitious of all the states in the matter and currently had replanted 146,000ha.
