MALACCA: Of the 85,000 people working in Malacca, 25,000 are foreigners, said state Industrial, Trade, Cooperative and Entrepreneurial Development Committee chairman Datuk Wira Ahmad Hamzah.
He said based on the statistics, the state still depended a lot on foreign labour and hoped no parties would take advantage to mistreat or abuse their workers in any way.
