THE schoolchildren could only resist the four rows of big drums in their school hall for a short while. They were soon hitting the drums and having fun and only stopped after a reprimand.
The SJK (C) Chee Wen pupils were excited to witness the handing over ceremony of 30 Chinese drums to The Star's Youth as part of a programme to promote Chinese drumming among all races.
