SOME 200 residents in Kampung Belah Dua, Bukit Mertajam, who have been saddled with frequent flash floods, can hope for some relief now.
The contractor involved in earthworks for the RM20mil hostel and Pekan Rabu project nearby has now agreed to build a proper drainage system to prevent flash floods in the village.
