Lighting unit for Penang Zainal: Officers will be sent out to monitor street lightings


THE Penang Municipal Council (MPPP) is planning to set up a lighting unit to address several complaints of malfunctioning street lamps on the island. 

Council president Datuk Zainal Rahim Seman said the unit comprising officers would be sent out in patrol cars to monitor the street lightings and identify those that were not functioning well.
