KOTA KINABALU: The Ministry of Housing and Local Government is considering making toilet hygiene a condition for coffee shops and restaurants getting their trading licence renewed.
Its Deputy Minister Datuk Robert Lau Hoi Chew said the proposal was aimed at encouraging coffee shops, restaurants and other eatery operators to keep the toilets at their premises clean.
