PINT-SIZED Esther Eusan Subal won the women's high jump in the National Inter Teachers Education Institutes (Kagum) Athletics Championships at the Tuanku Abdul Rahman Stadium in Paroi recently.
The 19-year-old Esther, a trainee teacher of Institut Perguruan Kent (IPK), cleared 1.40m to win the golf medal. It was indeed a surprise as Esther, who stands at 1.59m, was the shortest among the 14 participants.
