JOHOR BARU: Police have shown their seriousness in their war against illegal gambling with a series of raids which resulted in over 57 computer slot machines worth RM60,000 being seized.
Johor Baru (South) OCPD Asst Comm Shafie Ismail said the machines were seized in raids at shoplots in Permas Jaya, Taman Istimewa, Taman Daya, Taman Mount Austin and Taman Datuk Yahya Shaaban in Ulu Tiram last month.
