PENANG: Former workers of con-tractors involved in Telekom Malaysia Bhd (TM) projects are believed to be behind the underground cable theft in Jalan Scotland.
No ordinary thief could pull off such theft with ease as the cable is located about 3.5m beneath the road surface and it would take about an hour to pump out the water below.
