Universiti Sains Malaysia’s School of Chemical Engineering dean Prof Abdul Latif Ahmad said local researchers did not enter the contests to win medals for their products but to inform industry players that the country was equally excellent in research and technology.
“Via these international exhi- bitions, others will realise our capabilities and advancement in scientific research and development,” he said after presenting a talk on membrane technology in conjunction with his appointment as a professor in Nibong Tebal yesterday.
