A TUMOUR of the jaw spurred Terry Kok Hong Kuan from Kuala Lumpur to pursue a career in medicine.
He seems to have made the right choice as the aspiring doctor clinched three subject prizes at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) during his two-and-a-half years of pre-clinical studies there.
